Despite having DeviantArt as my web home page, I haven't updated this thing in a god damn long time... UNI IS NEARLY OVER FOR ANOTHER YEAR THAT MEANS RECREATIONAL ART AND NOT LIKE PICTOGRAMS AND LOGOTYPES AND STUFF. :D

Title says it all. Been slacking off all things creative as of late. Hardly drawing, rarely picking up my guitar. Its as if life has gone a bit off colour. However, good news I suppose, I think its all coming back. Been loosening up with quick paintings that are getting more and more out of my comfort zone in terms of style, and its been enjoyable, whereas doing a landscape speedpaint has become painfully slow and involves me staring blankly at the screen. Seriously, theres like a whole folder of half finished paintings. I think I even saved one today that just had a background colour. Need to get back in the zone. At least before uni star

I get the feeling I'm procrastinating and just lying to myself to make me feel better. My most recent one has been my lack of concept designs because I've gotten back in to just writing the lore of my little universe. Like, stuff's getting done, but I just feel lazy from it, like I've got 5 or 6 paintings sitting on my desktop that I've very half-arsedly worked on, one of which I'm pretty sure has been sitting there since maybe April when I first got my new tablet, which incidentally, has moved from its faithful position of right near my computer to on my beanbag, under a stack of papers.
